Re: error processing rtl8812au-dkms [Solved]
Thank you! Removing an old kernel (6.1) and removing the unused wifi drivers did the job!

Re: Cannot boot into Windows anymore [Solved]
Mounting the Windows partition before update-grub did not make any difference.
Thank you!
Yes! That brought back the 2 Windows entries in the boot menu.sudo dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc
Thank you!

Re: Cannot boot into Windows anymore [Solved]
Have you tried as root user in terminal? update-grub update-grub does not bring Windows back into the Grub menu.
I tried again with LiveUSB ->Boot Rescue->Windows Boot loader, now with a different boot (from USB, not UEFI):

Re: Cannot boot into Windows anymore [Solved]
I tried the MX-23.2 LiveUSB - Boot Rescue. Unfortunately, it cannot find a Windows Boot Loader. What would be the file name?
My Windows 10 is on partition 2, partition 1 has boot flag. Previously there were 2 Grub entries for Win10.

Re: how to install gloobus preview
In 20.04, I just added the ppa, and installed.
But now, trying to add the ppa did not work, see attached.
Do I have to build it from source for MX-21?

how to install gloobus preview
In my desktop (Ubuntu 20.04) I am running gloobus preview to conveniently display text, pictures, pdf etc.
In MX-21 on my laptop I tried to install the package, but I couldn't.
Any tip how to do? Or any alternative?

Re: How to add an item for windows into the grub menu? [Solved]
Now, I copied the boot folder and bootmgr from sda2 to sda1, set the boot flag on sda1 and cleared it on sda2.
Then, update-grub.
I got 2 Windows entries sda1 and sda2 in the grub menu.
