window placement="at the centre of the screen" ignored

in windows manager tweaks i selected "at the centre of the screen" on the placement tab but windows are not opened centred. I have another machine running MX where it works however. I give the QSI for the machine where it is not working, thanks

good book on PC maintenance

i want to buy this book because it seems to be widely used: Upgrading and repairing PCs, Scott Mueller.

I wonder how dependent it is on Windows though (I am not using windows and have no interest in it). Eg, the stuff on diagnostics and testing.

There is a linux edition of the book but it has ...

About your missing "Python.h" header file, if you look at the list I posted, it does have python3-dev. I don't know why you didn't follow it.

interesting, it isn't enabled on the computer where it is immediately accessible. The quick system info for that computer follows. I will enable it though thanks
