Re: BusyBox prob

I had same thing happen after a recent Windows update. In my case, the update turned RAID on for the SATA Controller 'mode' in BIOS. Go to your BIOS settings find where it mentions SATA. Change to AHCI and you should be able to load MX completely. Of course you did not post your QSI, so only ...

Re: Firefox 134.0 webRTC issue [Solved]

You can install the FireFox ESR instead if you want it up to date with security fixes, but without any other recent changes. Available under Popular Applications in MX Package Installer.

Thanks for adding Audacity 3.5.1 to test repo

I saw that Audacity had been upgraded to version 3.5.1 in the test repo. https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=774005#p774005

A very big thank you. I upgraded, and so far so good. I love that MX Linux has the Test repo available. I am using the latest pipewire set up from the test repo as well ...

Re: Has LibreWolf's repo changed?

I know this is closed, but thought I would quickly mention that the librewolf stable version flatpak has been updated, and that their flatpaks tend to be updated more quickly than their other repos. Only mentioned in case you want something now to fix things until librewolf gets the main .deb repo ...

Re: How to completely disable Firefox updates? [Solved]

The only issue with holding back updates for Firefox is that you don't get safety updates. You might want to switch to Firefox ESR. That way you still get safety updates, but not new features. About once a year the ESR version jumps ahead to a more recent version and new features.

Unable to locate package power manager settings.
Using the Whisker Menu just search for "power", and the power manager should show up as an option. Open it and settings are there.

Re: Screen/monitor timeout not working

I find just deleting xfce4-screensaver and using xfce4-power-manager-settings only solves this. At least on my systems. Assuming you don't want a screen saver, and just want monitor to go blank or bring brightness to 1%, etc

Re: Moksha Desktop Environment for MX? Thoughts?

I mentioned on another thread here that I am interested on anything that involves Moksha, mainly because it uses minimal resources and is not hard to learn how to use.

MX Linux XFCE is my favorite desktop and what I will always use for my Main computer (main being whatever is my newest).

Many ...
