I tried 3 other distros - the same issue, so this is not MX' fault but Linux' in general.
Having found no solution, I have installed Windows.

This is not the "Quick System Info". It's edited. (Please just paste it, directly, as it is. (No need to hide "repos" if you didn't add Ppas ... ))
Why post non-related stuff? For the question asked, the "Quick System Info" is barely needed at all AFAIK. Please correct me if I am not aware of all ...

Freshly installed MX 21 XFCE on
Dell OptiPlex 7010 Ultra Small Form Factor (desktop, not laptop as Quick System Info says).
Integrated GPU Intel HD 4000, no other GPUs and will never be as the motherboard has no slots.
The max resolution available is 1024x768. Having done `xrandr` and `cvt 1680 1050 ...
