MMX 23-5 Vivaldi will not work [Solved]
Did a new install of MX ISO with Liquorix Kernel 6.12. Vivaldi installs by any methods I choose to use but will not start. There are no errors and I see nothing in the system logs.
I have used Vivaldi for years within all my MX systems experience. Anyone have any help, ideas or comments to sort this ...

Re: 23.5 bluetooth mouse not found / connecting [Solved]
SOLVED
I solved it by getting a Tecknet mouse and it is working with the Mediatek WIFI.
I also intend to replace my Mediatek MT7921 WIFI with the Intel AX210NGW just because I've had too many issues with same.

23.5 bluetooth mouse not found / connecting [Solved]
After upgrade to 23.5 my bluetooth mouse will not connect even while still seen in blueman gui screen. I deleted the mouse using blueman gui and mouse can no longer be found using search. Other items show up with search but not the mouse. I also made various attempts using bluemanctl options- no ...

Thanks for the replies.
I now think Gioelli has probably hit on what I did, and I probably could have recovered with Charlie Brown's suggestions.
I used Thunar and just copied everything in /home to an external drive. I am not all that knowledgeable re Linux and individual files.

Re: MX 23 install ruined by copying bkup user/home/dirs and fileslll [Solved]
Everything was backed up and I have just gone ahead and reinstalled. It is quick to do with MX.
My /home and other important items were backed up on a separate drive.
I first noticed the issue in the midst of making appearance changes to the desktop - the system told me the settings could not be ...

MX 23 install ruined by copying bkup user/home/dirs and fileslll [Solved]
Replaced MX21.3 with latest MX 23 new install. All was wonderful until I copied /home/user files and dirs to new install.
Last thing that happened is the system told me it could not save my system changes I had made mostly to the display.
My password is also gone and that pretty much kills ...

Re: avahi filling my system log with errors [Solved]
I had already searched all the "conf" files to no avail. I did find the following that took care of the issue:
sudo nano /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf
In that file:
change “use-ip4=yes” to “use-ip4=no”
change “use-ip6=yes” to “use-ip6=no”
