I hate Windows with a passion and switched to MX. Unfortunately I have to use Copysafe pdf reader for some of my work which only runs on Windows (no linux version)

I tried using luckybackup and it work fine. Well i thoughtso, BUT it backed-up all my folders with no files in them. It ran for 1h40min and you can see the files being copied.
When checking the backup there was no files in the folders.
I then did it with a single big folder and it did ...

Newbie again _ I have read here and there something concerning the “screen driver/resolution” when installing MX or antiX on old laptops. Unfortunately I dont get the whole picture yet.

I got to this site wanting to install the WordPress desktop app (debian version).
Could someone check it out as I did a search through MX package installer and synaptic but could not find the desktop app, or something other than (I think) was the server app).
I need to know if it is safe to install ...

Me greatest shorcomming is not knowing how to use the tools - "The main things are to learn to use the tools provided (in this case MX Package Installer or the apt tools) and ask for software packages that you need to use but are not yet in the repositories as a package ...

Great, maybe you did not understand - im a newbie.
I know about the package installer BUT did not get any "blog packages" there.
Could someone just answer my first question What if i need to use an outside repository ???????
