eigentlich dürfte das Ganze doch kein Problem sein.
bei mir wurde sogar der lidescan20 unter simple-scan sofort erkannt und er scannte dann auch.
vuescan ist doch eher was fur die windowswelt.
ansonsten wäre xsane noch zu eempfehlen

es scheint wohl wirklich ein Problem einer zu heiss werdenden cpu zu sein.
Ich habe


sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade


direkt am morgen, nach dem der Rechner über die Nacht aus war, eingegeben, da lief dann alles durch. Wahrscheinlich weil die CPU da noch kalt war und sich auf nur 58 Grad ...

Finally, I got the stuff running.
I think this is an issue with Open JDK.
Jstock worked for me after I downloaded the Oracle JDK and set the JAVA_HOME variable inside jstock.sh to the unpacked JDK directory.

$ java -version
openjdk version "17.0.14" 2025-01-21
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 17.0.14+7-Debian-1deb12u1)
OpenJDK Server VM (build 17.0.14+7-Debian-1deb12u1, mixed mode, sharing)

$ dpkg -l | grep java

I recently made a freh installation with mxlinux 23.4 on my samsung R41 and tried to set up jstock, a stock administration prog.


wget https://github.com/yccheok/jstock/releases/download/release_1-0-7-60/jstock-1.0.7.60-bin.zip
unzip jstock-1.0.7.60-bin.zip
cd jstock/
chmod 755 jstock.sh
./jstock ...

reinigen ist zwar immer gut, werde ich auch mal machen aber ich glaube nicht dass das ausschließliche Problem ist.
Der Rechner läuft ohne Probleme über mehrere Stunden, nur stürzt er regelmäßig bei dkms-make.sh ab

ich habe mxlinux 23.4 auf meinem alten Samsaung R41 installiert ohne Probleme.
Jedoch kann ich keine Programme installieren wie z. B. Falkon
