Ok, I understand there is no solution for this.
Then there's no other way (when necessary, not very often) in Linux than sudo and passwd in the terminal.

You don't have to run featherpad with sudo or as root. If you edit and save anything that needs elevated permissions, it will ask you for the password.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Of course Stevo, it was an example.
The point is that pkexec is a bit restricted and kdesu(do) and/or pksu(do) and/or su were not so.
So one can improvise but not when there would be a solution. I know.. security... With the terminal as a mediator between dektop and app it's is okay with me but it is not beautiful. No problem here. In the meantime I'm almost done with install and polish of the settings of my new MX 23. It is really great as far as I can see. ;)
