trash bin folder [Solved]
hi everyone I am using mx linux 19,2 when I delete file or folder they don't go to my trash folder I am not understanding why can any one help me with a solution.

Welcome. I think you don't understand how MX works. When you right-click on a file or folder you have several options including "Move to Trash" and "Delete". Delete means precisely that: the file or folder gets completely deleted and can't be recovered. If you want to remove the Delete option you can do so in Thunar file manager's preferences on the Behavior tab. https://docs.xfce.org/ will provide more information about how Xfce works.

Also, using the Delete key will send it to the Trash bin. To permanently delete a file/folder simply use Shift+Delete after which a confirmation window will appear asking for confirmation.
I use the keyboard vice mouse because it's faster and easier than right-clicking.

staurt_M and jayM thank you both for clearing my doubt actually it was mistake from me because every time i used delete keys before in xfce only recently i used right click and delete and thought it functions same as delete key on keyboard that was my mistake i had been using xfce for a year and loving it but thanks a lot for clearing my doubt means a lot have great day.
