Keyring password has to be reset after power loose

I have an issue with MX-17.
When the computer is ungracefully powered off (loss of power situation) the keyring password has to be reset, even when there are no applications open.
Don't recall having the issue with MX-16.

Is this expected behavior?

loss of power .. probaly some lock's have not been cleared. But hope all now working fine after you have reset the keyring as requested.
