Re: How To Install VirtualBox Guest Additions In AntiX? [Solved]
That's an old version of VirtualBox. No wonder it doesn't work properly. The one in MX is 6.1.14. I suggest you upgrade VirtualBox in your host to the current version. Check with Zorin's support or search the web to learn how.

Re: How To Install VirtualBox Guest Additions In AntiX?
Virtual box is not able to detect the guest additions which is installed. When I open the file manager it says "No Guest Session". I have upgraded to version 6.0.24 then too the guest addition features such as clip board share and all don't seem to work properly. Any way to uninstall the pre-installed guest additions in antiX and reinstall it with the one that came with my virtual box?
One thing that I have noticed is that when I opened "session information" the guest additions version it says that is already installed is 6.1.14_Debian r140239 while my virtual box version (full) is 6.0.24 r139119

Well, you've somehow messed up your VirtualBox installation on your host system. If you need help figuring out how to completely remove VirtualBox and start over, this time using an up to date version, you'll have to ask in Zorin's support forum.

Had completely removed the Ubuntu repo version and have reinstalled the new version after adding the virtual box official repo. Any way to remove the guest additions that are pre-installed and install the one that come with my virtual box?
Virtual box also recommends to remove the pre-installed guest additions (if any) and install the one, which came with your version

Re: How To Install VirtualBox Guest Additions In AntiX?
If you're asking how to uninstall any VB guest additions that are installed in antiX use Synaptic Package Manager. If you're asking how to remove what's installed in ZorinOS I couldn't tell you as I have no idea what it uses as a package manager.

Re: How To Install VirtualBox Guest Additions In AntiX?
I finally got it to work, I was running virtual box 6.0 thinking it was the latest one. The thing was that the guest additions that came pre-installed were for virtual box 6.1. So when I upgraded to 6.1 every feature (including file manager) started working
