Re: MX 25 Beta 1 Feedback thread
I booted up the MX-25_fluxbox_sysvinit_beta1_x64 ISO and it also doesn't have the installer icon on the desktop.
In fact, none of the icons are showing up on the desktop that are in the desktop folder.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Re: MX 25 Beta 1 Feedback thread
MX Linux 25 KDE beta 1 (QSI in post #2)
Dolphin can not connect to other Shared Folder (SMB) hosts. Prompts for ID & PW but is rejected. Connections TO MX25 from a MX 23 host work fine.
KDE firewall app has a 'legacy' pre-configured rule for Samba; no TCP 445 and older (obsolete UDP ports). No way to delete rules. previous KDE version did not have these issues.

Re: MX 25 Beta 1 Feedback thread
Installed in a Optiplex 745 with a C2D e6600 and Nvidia GT610, default drivers, tried to install from the menu the nvidia ones, didn't found the legacy 390 available. but the Nvidia card functions out of the box.
Youtube works without going to constant 100%; without the card, it goes like that until I close the window. The menus, updates works.
I'll try to post the output of the nvidia card.
I'm gonna test with other machines:
Dell latitude 5400 8th gen latop.
Dell optiplex but the 780.
AMD FX6350 some nvidia card
An atom 64bits mini HP
Dell 7040 SFF version
and also my gaming machine x5900 with 6700xt lots of nvme and ssd's ( I believe that one would backup first to a server my whole thing and wait for the final version to put btrfs on all of them.
So far so good!
