A guy gave me drivers in a .zip file, I have some problems connecting to Wi-Fi, how can I install them?

Support for MX and antiX Linux distros

Don't. Linux drivers are going to be compiled into the kernel and if you don't know how to do that, you shouldn't try it because you found some warez.sudo_crown wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 9:36 pm A guy gave me drivers in a .zip file, I have some problems connecting to Wi-Fi, how can I install them?
Sorry, I'm new to Linux, I just want to learn.DukeComposed wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 9:38 pmDon't. Maybe this post was a joke. I don't know.
Welcome to MX LINUX. Drivers come in the LINUX kernel. If your Wi-Fi doesn't work and your computer is a late model that came out no more than a year you could try the latest kernel. You can find those kernels in the MX Package Installer in the first column listed in Kernels. Install and reboot. If it causes trouble booting you can select the original kernel on the boot screen under advanced boot options.sudo_crown wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 9:41 pmSorry, I'm new to Linux, I just want to learn.DukeComposed wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 9:38 pmDon't. Then the first rule to learn is "learn the rules". That means reading and understanding the forum posting rules and that means providing a QSI with every help request. A mod will be along shortly to explain how to generate a QSI if you need help.
