If you use QSI, use the copy for forum button. You can post code
code output here
You happened to remove a [ so that messed it up.

Have you run

Code: Select all

dpkg --configure -a
as it tells you?

Open a terminal and type this.

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg --configure -a
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

That kernel has not been updated for a looooooooong time, either.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

i have had that happen a few times in he past and the first time i was scracthing my head and behind --- heh heh --- and then i figured out use the 'sudo' with the appropriate command ---- dpkg --configure -a ------ and hit enter. package fixes or reinstalls itself - probablt upgraded version and it works after that.

i am in my 70s and basic re: linux commands. so i feel for you.

good luck!
