Blank screen on wake from suspend

#1 Post by wolfganp »

I'm suffering the same issue, my dell latitude (with embedded gpu) display and keyboard backlight turns on, but no activity whatsoever (other than the hdd light making a pulse).
Is there any way to capture in which state the machine is in that situation? (

Code: Select all

$ sudo journalctl -rb -1
seems to shows nothing related to that period)
Thanks!

@wolfganp Your topic is here. You have a different computer, different load.

Also, you have no swap - some applications require a swap file to process properly. Lets start with adding one please.

Then:
- do you have xfce4 screensaver loaded still?
- Did this happen at a lower kernel? (Say 6.12.x Liquorix)
- Does this happen with the regular kernel ?
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

I do believe I have told you to not hijack people's threads before, haven't I, just yesterday.

This is the second time your post needed to be split off.

Start your own topic, link to the one if you want to reference, but do not tack onto another one again, ok. Thanks.
