Partition ist voll und nicht ausreichend [Solved]

Hallo,

habe MX-Linux 23.2 installiert und auf 23.6 upgedated. Die Partition hat ein Größe von 41 GB. Im System ist die VirtualBox installiert. Normaler weise sollte die Größe ausreichend sein, jedoch habe ich nur noch wenige MB frei. apt-get autoremove habe ich ausgeführt, aber ohne Erfolg.Was macht die Partition so voll und wie kann ich etwas Platz schaffen ? Werden bei Updates die alten Dateien nicht entfernt oder wie kann ich diese, die nicht mehr benötigt werden, entfernen ?

Sie können MX Cleanup verwenden, um Speicherplatz freizugeben. Kernel-Updates können einen erheblichen Speicherplatzverbrauch verursachen - Sie sollten jedoch mindestens zwei haben, damit Sie bei Bedarf ein Rollback durchführen können.

Wenn das alles in der einen / Partition liegt reichen 41Gb bei weitem nicht aus.

keine eigene home-Partition. Der Ordner VirtualBox VMs liegt dort, die Datei Windows10.vdi hat ca. 25 GB. Die VirtualBox liegt auf einer separaten Partition.

Ich stimme @schwarzheit zu, dass 41 GB nicht ausreichen. So viel Speicherplatz würde ich allein für /root reservieren.

Außerdem ist deine WD-Festplatte zwölf Jahre alt, also deutlich über dem üblichen Alter von sieben bis acht Jahren. Du solltest sie bald und vor dem Eintreten eines Notfalls austauschen.
