I use apt notifier to keep my system updated, this morning during the upgrade I got this error and upgrade stopped:

What I've done in the past is change repos to one from a University like Berkley or GA Tech, that didn't work this time. Due to a memory that doesn't work as well as it used to, I'm at a loss of what to do next, please keep it simple.

Try the Utah or Milan mirrors, as these are hosted by MX devs themselves.

Then refresh the package list with

sudo apt update

before trying to upgrade your system.

I was merely suggesting the LA repo because I was able to install the program.

Thanks - which MX-owned repos are located in the USA or Canada? I'd prefer one close to the NE USA.

anything with mxrepo in the URL. so LA, Salt Lake City and Milan Italy, Alblasserdam Netherlands. In the NE, I tend to use Princeton, as its very fast.

@bradhamilton Did you mean Nebraska (NE) or north east?

United States, Lenexa KA should read KS---@Adrian?

MX owned - Salt Lake City, UT & Los Angeles, CA. Other repos, in northeast USA - U of MD, RIT & Princeton U.

Thanks! The repos in the Northeast were mirrors, and didn't update quickly - Aalborg, Denmark worked fine. I decided to go with SLC for the future.
