[Gimp How to] Make clean edge without edge effect

[Gimp How to] Make clean edge without edge effect

Gimp's "FIlters" -> Edgi-Detect Filters can not detect clean edge as you know...
This time, I made method of Make clean edge without "GIMP's edge detect", I share this method today.

I Hope this method will become GIMP's new edge-detect effect...

First, Selest object by Fuzzy Select Tool.
Image

And Select -> Glow, Glow selected range. (ex. about 7px this time)

And Invert Selected

Select Object again!

And Invert Selected once more.

Create new layer for Final result

Paint selected area at Bukket fill tool

Very nice Freja ! I have to try this when I dive into my next GIMP episode !
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
