today update of liquorix-kernel is broken  [Solved]

today update of liquorix-kernel is broken

Hi,

update by update-service terminated with error, so I started update manually, which raised these errors:

that one is in our ahs-staging repo, for testing. it may be better for you to disable that repo and remove the 6.13 kernel, as the support packages are not ready yet.

that said, do you have the rest of the error message? because those you show are probably not actually a problem.

Having ahs-staging without the standard ahs repo is not how we expect ahs-staging to be used, either. :frown:

Those are warnings, not errors. rtl8821ce-dkms (which you don't need, anyway) still built and installed, it's just not signed for Secure Boot.

The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

And repeating:

1. You still need drivers from the regular ahs repository for an ahs kernel, except...

2. I also said you don't need those unused wi-fi drivers on your hardware. You need to remove them: MX Cleanup works well for that.

The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Adding the ahs-staging repo was a hint I received, when I had audio problems.
I very like ahs flavor of kernels, but without staging I used the ahs kernels from default mx repos.
... but then I read, that kde users "should" use liquorix kernels, so I started reusing them ...
I try to follow recomendations from this forum

KDE currently ships with a non-ahs kernel, but with the ahs repos enabled. I don't know how yours was disabled.

I wish someone hadn't told you to use ahs-staging. We keep stuff there that is currently breaking other stuff, or is in danger of doing so, and needs more testing. It's not for fixing problems. For example, we have the new Liquorix 6.13 kernel there, but might soon move it to ahs main.

Hi,

I installed mx21 and live with updates since then.
ahs repository was never enabled. I used ahs kernel from mx default repo
I did enable ahs repo now and get some warnings on update:
