Forum related question - How to drag&drop, please?

#1 Post by madmax25 »

While editing a post, I sometimes want to drag&drop a word or some text to another spot.
But then the entire input field gets blue and seems to "think" I want to add a picture.
The only way to get out of this situation is to mark the entire text, copy it to the clipboard, reload the page, and paste it in again.
Is there any way to disable that strange behaviour?

My QSI:

Moved to Site Help forum.

Yeah that is the PostImage extension that does that. We will not be disabling the extension, so you'll have to edit another way than drag & drop.

Ctrl-x and Ctrl-v will work to pick up and move text.

So, If I want to use it the way it is supposed to be used, I put the browser into window mode, open an image folder and drag&drop an image from there into the blue area. Right?

There is a link add image to post. Other methods you just have to try and see what works.
