Can I install today released LibreOffice 24.8.5 on MX Linux 23.5 via Flatpak? The crux of the question is the possibility of installing a version that is not the latest at all, although it is still supported as the older stable. I would like to migrate to 25.2 branch with 25.2.3, not with 25.2.0, so it would be nice to utilize 24.8.5 and then 24.8.6 meanwhile.

Only version 25.2.0 is visible in the MXPI GUI, but maybe is there another way?

You can download a deb install directly from libreoffice website.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Threre's also the appimage versions, you can try as many as you want. There are probably limitations (e.g if you need specific plugins or use mutliple languages) but for my basic usage they're just fine.

I have asked intentionally about Flatpak, because I have macros, config files, backup scenarios adjusted to Flatpak versions. I have read the page which I have linked up.

I would give MXPI at least another day to see if the flathub repos update.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
