I've always had the option to open a new private window when right clicking on firefox in the panel, but I don't have it now.
Does anyone know how I can get it back please.
Here's a picture of my right click menu.

System info' below. Can something be gleaned from this to assist with adding a shortcut to the firefox launch menu?Eadwine Rose wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 5:25 pm According to the forum rules (please read): Please provide full Quick System Info, use copy for forum button, no edits.
LiveUSB version is OK if needed.

We've seen a lot of petty dictators since March 2020. Lots of you guys about.
I moved over to Linux because I am a true supporter of freedom, in software and in the real world. I don't like stupid xxxxxxx rules that make no sense.
If I'm banned so be it.
You aren't the best person to decide if the rules apply to you. I don't ask for you to respect me, but you have to respect the idea that the forum and its rules exist for a reason and the people who enforce them are doing so for a good cause. If you don't like the rules, you don't have to follow them: you are free to leave at any time.noesnada wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:45 pm That's what I thought. Two things. (a) Swearing is banned by the forum rules, and (b) freedom, both in software and in reality, does not mean absolute freedom to do anything anywhere at any time. The word for that is "chaos". Your freedom to swing your fist ends at the tip of my nose. Swearing on this forum disrespects the rules, and by extension it disrespects me, and everyone else here, by showing how little appreciation you have for our well-established rules of behavior. I don't need to endure your anarcho-libertarian screeds here, period, full stop. While you can thump your freedom drum all day long, you are not being oppressed here or being denied any freedom whatsoever. You are being asked to follow the rules that everyone else has been asked to follow, and everyone else here has agreed to follow them in order to maintain some reasonable semblance of courtesy.noesnada wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:45 pm I moved over to Linux because I am a true supporter of freedom, in software and in the real world. Look. I have been a person that questions rules for many years. I am very used to the typical responses. People like me need to get therapy and we need to grow up. In other words, we are children with mental health problems.DukeComposed wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 1:04 amYou aren't the best person to decide if the rules apply to you. If the concept of being courteous is too alien of a concept for you, you may need some therapy. Feel free to come back when you're ready to participate in a functional society. The obligation of even the basic pretense of acting polite seems to be something you are not capable of satisfying. I strongly encourage you to meditate on this. Even young children learn to pretend to be polite to get what they want. This seems to be a skill that has been lost on you.
You've asked for help. You've done so on a forum that has concrete rules, clearly posted on every page, and you are pretending to be offended by the idea of being asked to follow them. Grow up.
Either grow up or solve your own problems. I don't care which option you choose.
Well thanks for not banning me - yet. I don't want banned but expected to be.Eadwine Rose wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 2:55 am You agreed to following the rules by registering here. You knew they were there, and sharing the QSI is a little thing to do.
If you don't like the rules, or responses on this forum by the MX Team, you are welcome to seek your help elsewhere.
@DukeComposed You might want to dial the personal attacks down a little bit, thanks :)
