NDIVIDA MX250 driver installation fails

The "Nvidia driver installer" in the Applications->MxTools menu says:

when I try to install the NVIDIA driver for the laptop with MX250...

there is also a "ddm.log" file that might be helpful. also available in the quick-system-info tool, or under /var/log/ddm.log

it looks like you've got a mix of drivers from out side our repositories. this is a guess since you have not provided your Quick System Info. I suggest the following:

1. purge off your drivers.

sudo ddm-mx -p nvidia

2. start with the -N switch

sudo ddm-mx -i nvidia -N

follow the prompts. recent changes to ddm-mx make the steps in my youtube video unnecessary. they should still work, but they aren't necessary.

I get the below problem now:

or been moved out of Incoming.
