#1 Post by Pretty Vacant »

Looked in synaptic it only shows nemo 5.6.4-1. while 6.4.3 is current... Any way to install the more actual version on MX23?

If you REALLY are worried about security and hardening your machine as in your other question ... then the answer is No.

But, you can put in a request for the devs here to update the version in the repos.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Nemo is installed from the debian repositories. Debian will not change the version of nemo untill the next stable release of Debian. Debian Stable may not have the latest version of some packages, because they value stability over newer versions of software.
