Looked in synaptic it only shows nemo 5.6.4-1. while 6.4.3 is current... Any way to install the more actual version on MX23?

If you REALLY are worried about security and hardening your machine as in your other question ... then the answer is No.

Nemo is installed from the debian repositories. Debian will not change the version of nemo untill the next stable release of Debian. Debian Stable may not have the latest version of some packages, because they value stability over newer versions of software.
