Installation of OpenVSP aero package

#1 Post by geronimo750 »

Hello Everybody,

Hopefully you can help with the installation of a software package. I posted this on the main forum, but it was suggested to me to post it here.

I am trying to install OpenVSP-3.41.2-Ubuntu-22.04_amd64.deb (which can be found https://openvsp.org/download.php )on my laptop with MX 23.4 Libretto distribution, but I get the following error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
openvsp : Depends: libpython3.10 (>= 3.10.0) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
I have python3.11 installed, and I thought that could be the issue. I tried to create a symbolic link in case the software was looking exactly for libpython3.10 but no luck.

Any suggestion is more than welcomed!

Thanks a lot.
