[Sing to the tune of "Happy Birthday"]:
Happy Birthday to Me...Happy Birthday to Me...
Happy Birthday to Me.........
Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Today is my official MX-Linux "Creation Date".
Today I am 5-years-old !!!
In anticipation of Windows 7's End of Life on January 14, 2020, I started investigating Linux (in general) in early 2019. I officially adopted MX-Linux on January 15, 2020. Since then, I have not needed Windows once! All of my software installs are via either MXPI or the Enabled Repos.
Over the last 5 years I have discovered and learned SO much from the MX-Forum.
More importantly, I have been helped, at EVERY turn, by the Developers, Admins, Global Moderators, Packagers, and Forum members

The Forum has helped me out with: the dreaded B(lack)SOD, GRUB install for multiple distros, EFI multi-boot, encrypted snapshot installs, Wake-on-Lan, VirtualBox file-sharing, Backup & Recovery best-practices, etc., etc., etc.
I remain astounded that the MX Developers themselves are some of the first to respond to Forum Members' issues, and quickly, at that!!!!
Looking over my posts from the last year, I see that, with respect to previous years, I have helped more Forum members with their issues. Glad to feel that every year is more of a symbiotic/reciprocal relationship

So, yeah, one VERY HAPPY (MX) CAMPER

Thank you all for your investment, hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, and patience in helping the MX user!!!
I encourage other users and members of MX to find some way to contribute to this "Most Excellent" Distro!
Again, a heart-felt "Thank You" to Team MX:
