One issue I considered was the computer is looking in wrong places after a check on it, here that info:

I'd love to utilize my ssd more and for better purpose. I dont need the apple stuff really and I assume the Microsoft is associated with Wine?

I can't adjust brightness, use a screen saver. The "night color control seems to work though.

any help is good help!
Thank you

Yes, they are normal. You'll notice that the latest firmware 20241210 in ahs reduced the amdgpu warnings quite a bit, but a few are still there. Anyway, the AMD GPU is using radeon, not amdgpu, but you can set it to use amdgpu if you feel like it. Both radeon and amdgpu need the firmware, though.

Code: Select all

Device-2: AMD Whistler [Radeon HD 6730M/6770M/7690M XT] vendor: Apple driver: radeon v: kernel
    alternate: amdgpu
Do you know why this third party repo has been added for nala when we've got the current 0.15.4 in our main repos? The current release is also in bookworm-backports, but ours is tweaked so autoremoving packages is no longer the default.

Code: Select all

  Active apt repos in: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nala-sources.list
    1: deb https://mirror.dal.nexril.net/debian/ bookworm main
    2: deb http://debian.cc.lehigh.edu/debian/ bookworm main
Edit: I looked inside that repo, and it appears to be a complete mirror of the Debian repos. :confused:
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
