Hi
virtualbox-kvm uses KVM backend as the underlying hypervisor. It lets users to use virtualbox gui and vdi based machines without the need of virtualbox kernel driver. I have tested it on Arch linux and it is fully functional. Simpler to configure and run virtual machines than virt-manager and more feature-rich than gnome-boxes. Would be great if it added to MX repository.
