The other day i moved my computer from one room to another. As good as the perks of the move are, the monitor, (a 26" TV) has really bad screen tearing. Is there a way to fix it? Ive already tried the compister.

Rn MX Tweak and on the compositor tab change VBlank to glx. (If it is already on GLX, change to Auto or Off and then apply. You may have to play with this setting a little, but I believe that will fix this.

To be clear, the external 26'' TV monitor is what's new?

Stevo, although I see you practicing dentistry skills, it looks like you ought to stick with your "day job". :p

So the screen tearing only appeared after the move to another room, or was it happening before?

The assumption would be that the answer is after, since you made a point of including it as part of the fact pattern, but I am assuming nothing at this point.
