MXPi 24.11.05 not installing ...

#1 Post by CharlesV »

Bringing up a new machine, many things not installing from the Enabled Repos.
deja-dup
backintime
much more too

When I click on Install, it says 0 packages selected, 0 packages installed.

Installs fine with apt and MXPI 24.11.01

Same repo in both this new machine and other test case.

I tested it with Backintime and can confirm this error for the version MXPI-24.11.05 of Debian 11. Let's see how quickly Adrian fixes the new error.

24.11.03 worked. 24.11.05 does not. I did not have 24.11.04 to try.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

.06 will work... sorry about this, I blame it on the lack of coffee.

Went to install an app to try out this problem and did get the same as @CharlesV When I click on Install, it says 0 packages selected, 0 packages installed.-, on 24.11.05

It is not just the lack of coffee also the price has gone up so much , really who can afford the amount of coffee Linux drives on ?

MXPI-24.11.06 of Debian 11 works fine:

Code: Select all

apt policy mx-packageinstaller
mx-packageinstaller:
  Installiert: 24.11.06
