Question about LibreOffice updates

Hello, everyone.
I have LibreOffice 24.2.5.2 installed. I think I installed it via the Package Manager (Backports version) some time ago.
I'd like it to receive regular updates. Can I add a repo or take some other action?
Many thanks in advance.

If you are interested in most recent update (currently 24.8.2), you can follow the directions in the Wiki:

So it can be done with enabling debian-backports repo.
However, it has been shown in the past that the permanent activation of debian-backports "can" lead to some problems.
For this reason, Debian backports are normally disabled. But if you have a good timeshift setup you can restore and revert back in case
enabled backports repos break something.
Maybe safer to re-install LO backports from MXPI->Office

It worked like a charm, Jerry3904.
The old version needs to be uninstalled first, of course.
Many thanks, everyone.

A follow-up question: Supposing I want to install the latest LibreOffice 24.x, is there a way of updating it without uninstalling and reinstalling it?
Based on the instructions posted above, the current version needs to be uninstalled first?

When using LO itself you will see a popup when an update is available. Repeat the process used before and LO will install the update alongside the existing one.
I usually keep the existing one until I have tested the new version long enough to get used to it and know that there are no show-stoppers for me, then purge the older one.
