Upgrade auf Version 23.3 / 23.4  [Solved]

cat /etc/*release zeigt bei mir schon eine ganze Weile an, dass Version 23.1 installiert ist.
Ich habe aber erfahren, dass inzwischen die Versionen 23.3 und sogar 23.4 verfügbar sind.
Warum funktioniert bei mir kein Update/Upgrade?

Wenn du alle Upgrades durchgeführt hast, bist du effektiv bei MX 23.4. Die ursprüngliche Startbezeichnung bleibt erhalten, damit wir im Problemfall wissen, mit welcher Version du gestartet bist.

Ja, aber dieser Teil hätte 23.4 auf QSI oder inxi anzeigen müssen:

In der Zwischenzeit sieht Ihr System so aus, als wäre es von MX-21 aufgerüstet worden, weshalb es den 20. Oktober 2021 anzeigt (den von j2mcgreg erwähnten Startpunkt (Erscheinungsdatum von MX-21)). Und deshalb zeigt mein System den 31. Juli 2023 an (das Veröffentlichungsdatum von MX-23, nicht das Datum von MX-23.4 ( 2024-09-16 ) )

Zunächst danke an diejenigen, welche sich meines Themas angenommen haben.

Allerdings bin ich aus den Kommentaren/Hinweisen nicht so recht schlau geworden.
Das mit dem Datum kann ich einsehen, denn ich habe von ursprünglich Version 21 auf Version 23 AHS (!) migriert.
Allerdings wird mir eben Version 23.1 angezeigt und nicht 23.3 oder gar 23.4.
Auch sudo nala upgrade hat da keine Änderung gebracht.

Weiterhin habe ich gelesen, dass Version 23.4 mit Kernel 6.10 daherkommt, ich habe aber noch 6.6.11-1.

Weiterhin habe ich gelesen, dass Version 23.4 mit Kernel 6.10 daherkommt, ich habe aber noch 6.6.11-1.
6.10 ist der Standard-Debian-Kernel, während Sie den Liquorix-Kernel 6.6.11-1 verwenden, der keine Updates erhält (Sie müssen ihn manuell aktualisieren, indem Sie in MXPI einen neueren Kernel auswählen) oder in MXPI Liquorix 64 Bit (ahs-Update-Paket) wählen, das automatisch aktualisiert wird. Ich rate Ihnen, bei Liquorix-Kerneln zu bleiben, da in diesen Foren gezeigt wurde, dass sie mit Ryzen-basierten Computern besser funktionieren.

werde ich auch nicht schlauer.Weil, warum zeigts Du nur den Befehl, aber nicht die Ausgabe des Befehls.
Besser zeige mal dieses hier

Erstens: Entspannen Sie sich. Wahrscheinlich sind nur die Versionsstrings durcheinander geraten. Alle Updates kommen über das Repo.

Die Versionsstrings werden vom mx-system-Paket kontrolliert.

Ich glaube, Sie haben das Haupt-MX-Repository deaktiviert. Sie haben nur „ahs“ aktiviert.

Kopieren und fügen Sie einfach Enter auf einmal ein. Dies wird die deb-src in deb ändern und dann entsprechend dem neuen Eintrag aktualisieren. Deb-src wird von normalen Benutzern nicht benötigt, es sei denn, sie wollen die Pakete selbst kompilieren.

Danke, das war es! Meine Repositories waren nicht korrekt.
Manchmal sieht man den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht ...
Habe jetzt auf 23.4 upgraded und auch einen aktuelleren liquorix-Kernel installiert.
