Re: request icewm 3.6.0
It seems to backport easily from Sid for MX 23.
After those finish baking, I'll try MX 21 builds.

Re: request icewm 3.6.0
i have added sid .
now apt offers to install icewm 3.6.0 , but too many packages would be installed and removed by this process .
among them is bus and dbus and fundamental xorg packages , which by installing icewm 3.6.0 the whole system breaks down . so i mark it incompatible because i had to do a freah install .
please update icewm in mx repos .

Re: request icewm 3.6.0
Yes, you are trying to break your system by adding Sid..
Please read the MX User manual, disable Sid, and use MXPI to install the new version from the MX test repository. I have rebuilt from the source code, and that should make it compatible.

Re: request icewm 3.6.0
when icewm 3.6.0 will be available in the default Mx repo?
Re: request icewm 3.6.0
Already into the test repos (for MX21 and MX23) ... icewm_3.6.0-1 (2024-08-02) ... probably needs more feedback.MrPythoner wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 11:15 pm when icewm 3.6.0 will be available in the default Mx repo?

We'd prefer to have more than one test report before doing so. Maybe you could install it and report back here?
