Can you start it through the terminal and paste the output?

Your HDD is 13 years old. See here:
https://hdd.userbenchmark.com/Seagate-B ... ating/2022.
It's likely that bad blocks on the HDD are the cause of your problem.

You also might try renaming your .config/libreoffice folder to say libre_old and then try to start libreoffice. I have now seen several times there an update to libreoffice borks my config for it and it will not start.

I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find the ".config/libreoffice' folder! Please tell me how to get there.

/home/eadwine/.config/

It's located in the user directory.

In thunar, go to your home folder and then .config.

/home/your_login/.config

you should see there a libreoffice folder. Rename that folder.
