I have found a way to play nearly all ripped Blu-Rays, made with makemkv, under MX 23.3

Good evening (German time),
My family only owns one Blu-Ray player.

Now I was finally fed up with constantly being asked to connect the player somewhere else, depending on whether my daughter or son or my wife and - last but not least - myself wanted to watch one of our Blu-Rays on her/ my TV.

So we had to find a software-based solution, because we each have our own computer.

A daily use installation of MX 23.3 cannot display a lot of the Blu-rays ripped with makemkv.

What to do? Experiment!

And after several unsuccessful attempts, I found a solution that cannot display all ripped Blu-rays, but can display many more than the daily use installation.

Of course, the Blu-ray burner/player used must be able to play the Blu-rays, e.g. on a television or monitor
If it does not, my instructions will not help.

If there is enough interest in a how to do description, I will put it together for the forum.

Greetings from Germany, which is currently sunny and too warm for me.

Best regards
Karl
