Request MX-23: Qalculate! (latest version) [Solved]

Qalculate! 5.0 has been recently released. Could you please update it in the repos?

Since debian hasn't tackled 5.0 yet, bookworm is stuck at 4.5 and MX is still at 4.7 I decided to first backport 4.9 from Trixie before trying 5.0.
So 4.9 versions of qalc, qalculate-gtk, qalculate-qt, and libqalculate are available in the MX-23 & MX-21 Test repositories.

Please try these out so we can move them to main and have a spot in Test to try 5.0 builds

I just tested the 4.9 versions of qalc and qalculate-gtk, and everything looks okay.

Works fine for me as well, can be moved to the stable repo.

Today I noticed qalculate-gtk being shown as held back update.

Upon further investigation I found out the version of libqalculate22 in the repos is still 4.7 while qalculate itself is 4.9 already which prevents the update/installation of qalculate-gtk. This probably needs some fixing

libqalculate, qalc, qalculate-gtk, & qalculate-qt ver 5.3.0 are now available in the MX-23 Test repository.

Too many fixes and improvements have been made since version 4.9 to summarize here, check out the github changelogs for 5.0 -> 5.3 for the details,

As with any package in Test please leave feedback if you try it.

Ver 5.3.0 qalc and qalculate-gtk are working well, no problems noted. (I haven't tried qt, just gtk).
