It's in the flatpaks tab, so if you don't have it you can install it from there.

The only problems I see is the latest version is either windows or an appimage which is broken in 21.3. The previous version has no appimage, only a deb file, but, looking at the bug fixes between the older deb and the newer appimage, the deb file has too many issues to use. A 'non-starter' to be sure. NightPDF's appimage was updated Nov/23 and works great. Dark Mode PDF Reader built using Electron and PDF.js

Hope you get your ap working in either a current deb file or appimage. Flatpaks are too bloaty to take much stock in. Okular's appimages are ridiculously huge. May as well run the flatpak. Plus neither opens on my laptop like pdf4qt's (cuties for short lol). Okular has an appimage with "full-libs" at almost a gig, which doesn't even open.

The main function I use is Create Bitonal Document... To read on Kindle, bitonal PDF is better and reduces the size by almost 90%.

On MX-23 it works fine. But as the developer uses the latest version of QT, it is difficult to maintain binaries compatible with older versions of Debian. As it is Open Source, perhaps in the future someone can create Forks that are more compatible with older distro versions.

Most MX'rs are still on 21.3 so that's good to know. Seems like Debian11, or is it qt, is getting left behind a bit early. Perhaps the forum needs a specific to MX23 ONLY subforum. Thanks for clarifying and glad I don't need to edit any pdf's qt.
