Hello!
I would like to ask if it is possible for you to backport the 2023.12.30 - version for yt-dlp from Sid into MX Testing?
On their GitHub-page there is also a description for adding a PPA to apt but since this is not Ubuntu I would rather ask here if one of you would be so kind to make a backport instead.
Thank you very much in advance!

It's going to the test repo since the current one seems pretty much OK at present. You can also download it early here:

Hello, does not work for MX19 via MXPI.
Deprecated Feature: Support for Python version 3.7 has been deprecated. See
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/7803 for details.
You may stop receiving updates on this version at any time! Please update to Python 3.8 or above
Latest OK version seems to be for MX19:
yt-dlp --version
2023.11.16
# or need latest yt-dlp v2023.12.30: yt-dlp_linux (for amd64 only) ... into /usr/local/bin/yt-dlp_linux

Well, apparently MX 19 users are going to be stuck with the version in main from now on, unless there's an AppImage or Flatpak for it...

Right, so it is better to remove this version for MX19 into MXPI MX-Tests.
