VMWare Workstation Guest MXLinux Any Browser RunAway Arrow Key Crashing The OS

Just letting you all know when editing stuff within any browser, a runaway cursor caused by momentarily pushing an arrow key will cause MXLinux to freeze then need to restart the Guest OS.
In a facebook post I momentarily held the "E" key then after releasing the key, I watched scrolling e's that would not stop.
Everyone have a nice day.

I wonder is there a way to turn off key scrolling since there seems to be no solution available for runaway key scrolling?
