MX Package Installer - Flatpaks - Upgrade all - Error
Posted: Thu Nov 16, 2023 1:00 am
Hello to the hard working developers.
Since installing "MX Package Installer", Version 23.11.02, on the 15th of November 2023, there is a problem.
How I use updates
- When I start my system each day I open a terminal and run the command "sudo apt-get update". This results in the "You have updates" symbol turning green (if there are updates) within seconds of closing the terminal.
- Then I click on the green symbol and install any pending updates.
- Then I open "MX Package Installer" and click on the "Flatpaks" tab. I then click on "Upgrade all".
The problem
- At this stage a pop-up window appears with the title "Error" containing the message, "Problem detected while installing, please inspect the console output".
- When I move the pop-up window to one side I can see the "console output" which says, "Proceed with these changes to the system installation? [Y/n]: n".
My analysis
- The question has received the response "n" automatically, without any input from me.
My current workaround
- I open a terminal and run the command "Flatpak update", which works as it should.
Request
Could you please add fixing this to your "to-do" list?
Thank you.
