You can also look under the Enabled Repos tab for the Liquorix 6.5.7. 6.5.8, or the 6.5.9 kernels and corresponding headers packages.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Not quite sure if this is related to the hard drive issue for the main repos's in another thread, or something else.

I currently see 6.5.7and 6.5.8 in MX 21 Enabled repos( along with some others for 6.5), however NO 6.5.6 i any of that list.

But for MX 23, I see ZERO 6.5 packages in Enabled repos. so... something not quite right in the repos at the moment.

Currently I see no 6.5x kernels listed.

Code: Select all

$ sudo apt list linux-image-6.5*
Listing... Done

I see 6.1 kernels, and one 6.4 kernel.. nothing else.

Thank you both.
I tried to install it in the popular applications tab where it is listed.
As soon as I can I'll try through the enabled repos tab (or synaptic).

I can only assume it is something with repos. I am on la.mx and see no liq linux headers at all, and 6.5 is totally empty on Enabled repos at tis time. (I just refreshed, update and tried again - still none showing for me. )

I’ll probably need to update the mxpi popular app entry again.

I’m traveling for a family funeral so it might take a couple of days.

The kernels would likely be in the Ahs repo though. Which may be why some see them and some don’t.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.
