no detect nmv ssd internal

mx23.1 Thanks but usually it doesn't detect my internal nmve. Puppy and Ubuntu yes. I have reported this several times because at boot it should auto-detect it, only the mx23 beta 1 did it. I get nothing out of giving my quick info.
I'm posting it just for information.
thanks.

Please post your QSI. ( MX Menu, Quick System Info, Copy for Forum, Paste here )

Even if on a Live USB. I have many machines that show NVME's and have installed on quite a few. ( MX 21 and mx23 )

In Bios (Uefi) settings change sata mode to Ahci (from Raid).

First try that.

If you have Windows, too, (and if Ahci works) : turn back to Raid, boot to Windows, open Regedit and make 2 simple changes there, finally turn it to Ahci again.

@CaputAlista
Two things:
(1) When you post your QSI like you just did, please place it within 'code' tags instead of 'quote' tags. I made the change for you this time.
(2) You are using the 6.0.xxx kernel which is well known to be very buggy. You should use MXPI to upgrade to the 6.1.xxx kernel and then use Boot Options in MX Tools to make the change permanent. Then reboot and see if the problem has been resolved.

On an installed system that (highest numbered) will already become the default one by itself.

The problem is that during the boot itself it must auto detect the disk like Ubuntu or Puppy does. It is not a Bios problem. In RC1 they had solved it and it went back to 0.Thanks

In the meantime you need to correct the typo in your parameters:

nmve_load=YES

nvme...

This is what has me a bit confused:
the Data Traveller is partitioned as MBR

Code: Select all

ID-1: /dev/sda maj-min: 8:0 type: USB vendor: Kingston model: DataTraveler 3.0 size: 28.82 GiB
    block-size: physical: 512 B logical: 512 B type: N/A serial: <filter> scheme: MBR
but the QSI reports this:

Code: Select all

Boot Mode: UEFI
In a live session, shouldn't they both be MBR or, UEFI?
