Salve a tutti, questa volta l'aggiornamento da 21.3 kde a 23 kde (libretto) non mi e' andata a buon fine e ho dovuto fare una installazione pulita. Quello che mi ha stupito al termine dell'installazione e' lo spazio occupato nella root: 40,7gb su 54,7gb. Ma cosa c'e' che occupa così tanto spazio? Ma sopra tutto, anche a voi?

KDE non è molto magro. Ci sono molte librerie di supporto che sono in Root. Hai un ampio spazio di archiviazione per assegnare più spazio al root. Alcune opzioni sono:
1. Reinstalla con una partizione radice più grande.
2. Reinstalla con Root e Home sulla stessa partizione. Credo che questa sia la prima opzione di installazione.
3. Considera un sistema più snello MX Fluxbox.

Nessun problema, me lo tengo così, ero solo meravigliato da tale occupazione di spazio. Questa volta ho fatto fare all'installer visto che comunque partizionavo il disco non gli andava bene e crashava (mi ha addirittura fritto la /home) mi ha mescolato la home con la root e credo di aver scoperto anche il perche' della root gia' piena dopo l'installazione: puo' essere che lo swap sia integrato nella radice? Ho 24gb di ram e suppongo che lo swap sia identico o almeno 12gb.

Ho un MX23 qui, è stato aggiornato da MX21.3 preservando la partizione home e scrivendo una nuova installazione in root.

GParted mi dice che la mia partizione root ha una dimensione di 29,42 GB e che vengono utilizzati 9,63 GB.

È stato installato da un LiveCD che potrebbe spiegare parte della differenza.

Sto usando Google Translate per trasformarlo in italiano.

I have an MX23 here, it was upgraded from MX21.3 by preserving the home partition and writing a new installation into root.

GParted tells me that my root partition is 29.42GB in size and that 9.63GB is used.

It was installed from a LiveCD which may account for some of the defference.

I'm using Google translate to turn this into Italian.

In my case is the swap(24gb) included in root filesystem, there is in "/" a folder with name swap, i think because I've set the support for hibernation

Nel mio caso lo swap (24gb) è incluso nel filesystem root, c'è in "/" una cartella con nome swap, penso perché ho impostato il supporto per l'ibernazione
