Not sure if this is in the right place, but I just upgraded to MX-23 from MX-19.4. Dukto was in the repositories then, but is not now.
Searched all over the internet and in the forum posts, and can't seem to find Dukto R6 for Linux that I can download.
Notwithstanding that the package is no longer under development/maintenance, its still a good tool for file and text transfer on a network. Would it be possible to add Dukto R6?
Thanks.

Re: Dukto
If you do manage to get 2011-ish Dukto installed the MX 23 Firewall will need a tweak:
The developer of Dukto R6 has a public facing statement about future use:"...allow port 4644 incoming from the local network ..."
Time to find an alternative .... Samba shares, NFS, a local NAS or file server...UPDATE: this project is no longer maintained. You can download it and use it if it works on your devices, but I can’t provide any update and support anymore. I won’t provide also any security or bugfix update.

Re: Dukto
Here are MX 23 rebuilds, on the way to the main repo. I can't test them myself.

The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Re: Dukto
Thanks Steve!
After looking at the zip file, I think it best if I wait until it hits the main repos. But I can't wait.
I know its old and not supported any more, but it still works fine and there are very few programs that can do file transfer + chat features this easily.
Thanks to FullScale4Me for the note about the firewall changes - I've had to do this once before...
Will mark as solved. Thanks again.

Re: Dukto
Just for the record, there is "ndrop" — a Python-based CLI and GUI app, compatible with Dukto and Nitro Share.
