Noob question on MX's politic vs Debian (aka: sponsors)

I would like to know, please, if MX has the same policy as Debian for publishing packages, i.e. the need to find a sponsor who, in agreement with a developer, carries out (hopefully) the addition of the package

I try to explain myself better

Suppose a developer (... I ;) ...) wants to ask that a package related to some software to be added to MX
Suppose a ".deb" package is (somehow) prepared

Exactly WHO should be contacted with something like (very "compressed" example) "hello, here you can download the X .deb (...). Do you like it? Can you add to MX packages, please?"

Thanks for any help

Users needing packages that are not available in any of our repositories (do a search using MXPI to be sure) can put in a package request here:

Please keep in mind that we have a small team of developers and it may take some time to fulfil.
