Possible solutions regarding the whistling monitor

#1 Post by snl »

I may have found a solution to get rid of the monitor whistling I've experienced in all Linuxes except MX-19.

https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-static-no ... ers-linux/

Code: Select all

cat /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save

It might be related to Power Saving Mode.

I found that in the MX-19 the value was 0, while in the MX-23 from liveUSB it was 1.

But I would have to try it for a longer period of time, because the whistling occurs only occasionally, randomly...

How did this work out ?
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!
