What task manager panel plugin do you like on the Xfce panel?

I've bounced back and forth but docklike is kind of more modern and in step with other DE's. Critics of XFCE4 point out it's blandness and docklike takes it uptown somewhat..

In my opinion, a program like xfce4-taskmanager and LXTask are task managers. Neither Docklike or Windows Buttons are task managers. But, between the two for viewing open applications I prefer Windows Buttons.

Docklike, even though it crashes randomly and therefore needs to be "executed" lol.

I have top in my conky.. task manager, isn't that an overview of what is running on the system?

I prefer the "classic" taskbar with window buttons, always disliked the docks and window grouping.

If this is dock or window buttons, window buttons has my vote. I like to see where I am going in one click without pause.

I voted docklike but I had to check to see which I was using. I was equally happy with the MX-19 default, so it really doesn't matter for me.

Some DE's refer to open Windows as tasks but this is of course different than 'Task managers'.. Not sure if it's official XFCE4 nomenclature to blame or if D_O meant one thing and said another...

I'm taking this as how open Windows/Apps are identified and controlled

may "tasklist" is a better descriptor, but I don't think too many folks are confused when I also mentioned panel plugin.
