"Failed to fetch" error during update attempt

#1 Post by FlyBy »

Hi..
Update failed this morning with the following message...

Updates were working fine 48hrs ago, I haven't been tinkering (honest) so is this just a temporary glitch in the matrix?

Many thanks

sometimes they are slow or late in their updates - the mirrors that is. i rarely have issues but sometimes i close out and try again or wait a little bit and try it and then all is well. that could be your issue.

It only seems to be related to plasma-look-and-feel-theme-mx_23.01.01_all.deb. So that may very well be the case.

this has been mixed on the master servers. the mirrors will catch up as they sync, usually over 24 hours. some of the mirrors have already updated.

user's can switch to mxrepo.com (salt lake city) if they wish via mx-repo-manager.

Very much appreciate the input from everyone. I am now not only fully up to date, but also understand now how such a situation can occur. Big thank you!
