Hi everyone.

Where are the log files stored in XFCE? I want to look at the startup log, for example, because there are a few warning messages displayed each time. However, to write down too quickly gone again.

Who can help here please.

Greetings

/var/log

lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 - MX-23
FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Thank's @dolphin_oracle, when booting MX XFCE always shows me that:

Code: Select all

Dec 10 21:51:55 mxpete kernel: [ 0.068894] x86/cpu: VMX (outside TXT) disabled by BIOS
Dec 10 21:51:55 mxpete kernel: [ 0.068897] x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS.
Time to control the UEFI-Bios about this CPU-Features and if my I5-8600K is able to run them.

For others who might be interested in the question: those logs are now easily viewed/copied/etc by opening Quick System Info.
