Is this helpful to evaluate if it would be compatible with MX Linux 21?

Can the Ghostery Dawn Browser be added?

It's a commercial product, isn't it?

Re: Can the Ghostery Dawn Browser be added?
I just did a search for it Jerry and watched part of a youtube vid on it (made about 12 months ago). It seems to me that whilst there is a "free" version it may have ads in one form or another and they appear to offer paid subscriptions. So it does seem it's a commercial product in that sense. As one poster to the aforementioned vid stated, he/she could with not a great lot of effort (by adding appropriate extensions to FFox I expect) achieve much of what Ghostery promises.

Looks to be under an MPL license. See: https://github.com/ghostery

According to this review the addons for the commercial version don't add much for the typical user.

So that I can decide how to proceed ...
Is the answer Yes, No, or Maybe ... please?

I personally don't see why it needs to be added in order to test it. The command given on the GitHub site to do a Linux install works quickly (just copy and paste in a terminal) and ends in the command you need to run itIn case you don't know, you need to right click in the terminal to paste what you copied.
Code: Select all

Haha ... it pays to ask the smart folk!
Your instructions worked just fine.
(BTW: I press the roller to cut and paste for this purpose.)
I'll stress it some to see if I experience the freezing error some have described elsewhere.
Thanks!
